Subject: Recommend a good T2LT 11m antenna Sun Oct 22, 2023 3:47 pm
You will probably see from a previous post to Hawkins Radio is not trading. I was planning to buy the 5.5m Thunderbolt SSD+ for 11m.
I wondered if anyone could recommend a company that makes a comparible antenna in the same format?
Thanks from Rob.
PS I do not wish to make my own.

Have you had a chance to use the antenna yet ? any thoughts on it ?
Yes!. It’s installed on a 10m DX Commander pole. Next to the house 1/3 of the T2LT next to the bricks and the other 2/3 in the air. Well secured along the drop of the drainpipe.
SWR wasn’t great as a result at 2.1. The wire goes through the closing of the window via a RB316 patch cable. I have a TM999 and Ive tuned it down to 1.1. Working well and copies to Italy and Portugal on 12 watts.

£5 in bits and 10 minutes to make. And maybe 2 minutes to tune/swr job done. There was a guy selling them on the bay as a coax Gainmaster some time ago.
