Hi All i am Graham I have been a radio operator since the mid 70's back in the old AM days and i always had some sort radio in my lorry I have now retired as a long distance HGV1 driver. Also Back in the day i was the Webmaster for the TEDX group in Essex which is now a Facebook group. I was a rig doctor repairing radios at home and also worked part time at a shop in Southend Essex. I now spend a lot of time in front of a microphone and pc. I have to say that radio's and radio equipment have come a long way since the 70's/90's with the advent of new service mounted technology and graphics, like waterfalls and SDR etc. I also make up QSL Cards for the local lads, its something i like doing and keeps the brain going. am looking forward to getting a CT call sign and learning more about this group 73's & 51's for now Chow Chow....

You're more than welcome Graham.
I don't believe that there's an 'official' net frequency for the group (I could be wrong?) but it'd be pretty hard to maintain with members spread across the country let alone the world.
Might be worth a peruse at the 'Nets and Skeds' section of the forum for activity :-
I've only been lucky enough to catch others members up and down the country on-air with the Amateur bands (albeit with difficulty) on a 40m net we tried holding several times, but others manage regular contact with local nets on CB etc.
Here's hoping there's good activity in your area and you catch hold of fellow members.
