Subject: Foundation licence passed! Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:33 pm
Hi folks, very pleased to say that I passed my foundation exam last night. So I'm now looking forward to what is possible with my new licence. I have signed up for a CW course at my local radio club, this is something that has appealed to me for long time now, so we'll have to see where that goes. SOTA is another area that interests me, so it's time to get hill walking fit again. I'll add my callsign to my profile when I get it.
Cheers Al

With the new 25W plus your SOTA & CW plans you'll be batting out of the park with your DX activities there Al.
It's just down to the chomping at the bit waiting for the certificate now and choosing a call sign.
Enjoy those new bands and frequencies!
All the best, Victor

Congratulations Al. Won't be long before it's sporadic E season. I am sure you'll have a ball with that McKinley on 10m, I know I did with my 6900n soon after passing. Hope to catch you on the air sometime.
