Subject: Superstar 3900 (2023) version - Mic wiring Mon Jun 03, 2024 1:29 pm
Hi,
Does anyone know the mic wiring for the new Superstar 3900 is it the same as the old (Uniden, 4 pin).
You can change from Eletret to Dynamic in the menu and wanted to try a different microphone.

I have the 2023 superstar 3900. I have a Astatic 575 M6 on one of my other radios -a CRT 6900V. This Astatic also works fine on the 2023 superstar 3900. I recall that the black wire is not used when soldering. Check out the wiring schematic for the CRT6900V on the website below and it will work for your 3900.
