Request for Call Sign - not sure how you do it.

Hello again Bob,

We are still waiting for details of your QTH to allocate you a call sign. (As marked on this application.)

Once that is given we can go ahead with an allocation for you.

It seems that you are having difficulties with the forum as you have posted on several other issued application postings (which I've moved to here) and looks like you also asked within the 'chatbox' facility which is not manned 24hrs. I only noticed that because I went back and checked the chatbox archive seeing that several recent new members were having difficulties.

The instructions for call sign applications are marked in red lettering at the front page of the site and there is also a posting marked 'Read First' within the new members area trying to do our best to help newcomers where we can :-

It does however require that people actually read it first.

To hopefully help some I've marked this posting with your user name so that you may more easily identify your posting and prevent further time being used chasing random postings.

Please also remember that the admin team are volunteers and may not always be available to answer your queries immediately. For example I have family visiting so will be otherwise preoccupied until at least the weekend.

You're still randomly posting on the forum there Bob despite very effort of the admin staff to get you allocated a call sign.

Literally thousands of people before you have managed to obtain a call sign without a fuss or even too much difficulty.

I have sent you a PM with a link directing to this posting but left bereft of any ideas of how I can help you further.

We had a power cut in the village after some thunderstorms so I simply went off and got on with something else instead. I'm back now so will get your call sign allocated.
