Hello, My name is Chris and I live in Alençon, Normandy, France. I had my first CB radio in 1982, in Wales and I’ve been on air ever since, with years on and off. I have quite a collection of CBs from old USA AM types, EU 1980’s rigs, multiband and some British 27/81 types 73

When operating from a different country than you reside it's typical operating practice to just add the country prefix to your own call sign so in your example that would be "30/14CT021".
That might seem a mouthful but it specifies you as a French station but operating from a Spanish location helping with clarity plus preventing confusion with a call sign that could be allocated to another country and different member.
You soon get used to it and could respond to a DX call as "30 Division" and once contact is made add further details. If you're calling DX though the full call sign would be more appropriate.
Some complain about lengths of call signs but if you're worried about short duration due to QSB (fading) then conditions aren't that great for DX in the first place but you can always repeat details much as a seasoned operator would do.
I hope that helps and wish you good DX.
All the best, Victor
