You''ll get that ticket Dave I'm sure and just in time for Christmas too!
I don't have much of a garden but have squeezed in working antennas often regarded as too short for the lower HF bands and once you work the higher frequencies the antennas are often much smaller and can be squeezed into the tiniest of spaces.
My wish for Christmas would be for a 'Santa' station here in the UK similar to what they run in the USA. With supervisory privileges now available for all licence levels it would be great to have my grandchildren chat to a 'Santa' on the radio.
Great posting there Dave and I hope many members join in.
All the best, Victor

I ask my wife every year for a black 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback but I never get one

I do hope you get everything you wish for Dave, and that you have a better year next year. Hope everyone else else gets all they wish for too.
I'd be content with world peace, but that's a pretty big ask from Santa. I won't ask for radio stuff so he can just work on that one for me.

HiDave, I'm sure you will get your ham ticket, hopefully in time for Christmas. As Victor said, there are ways to operate even with a small garden.
My Christmas wish? Apart from good health for my husband and myself... this...

jacked up at the back with big wide wheels ? , there used to be a guy in our village who had a plymouth barracuda which used to be an indy pace car and he used to run it straight out of the manifold with no silencer and being a v8 didn't it sound well
