What is the best base station antenna these days?

How much do you want to spend and how big are you willing to put up?
When it comes to verticals though, even though many have a bit more gain you're not looking at even a S point over an Antron A99 with decent ground planes.
For DX though you want to be looking at a 30+ft tower and a yagi.
