Hi ALL
Sorry can any one help, what is the starting tuning distance for 27.555 meters for my GPE27 5/8 wave base antenna...as the top section I have is only 400mm (15.75 inch) long, the table I have says 487mm.. so to short to start with..

Hi Andy
did you buy it new or secondhand ?
if secondhand it sounds like someone has cut the top whip to tune up on the 10m band

Hi Thank you very much for your reply, brought the antenna new... a while ago now, tries to turn it but gave up... as I have an A99 up at present but would like to see how the GPE27 works for Dxing... wonder how many more of the same antennas have the same issue from the factory, will buy a new top section and see how it matched up.. Cheers Andy
