SWR check using the Zetagi 203w is a bit confusing to me and i thought i would see if anyone on here knows the procedure to check SWR with this meter?? it does not have the normal switch to calibrate and check SWR.
I did have one,, if memory serves my right.. top switch set SWR...... then set watt to what ever range your using... key up and set, then re key................ I think,, been a long time

Thanks Tom im hoping a Zetagi 203 expert to turn up soon and put us both correct, The meter seems quite simple but im going round in circles trying to work out if i have used it correctly.
I think your right about it has something to do with using the set dial to match up the watt meter scale first.
Hopefully someone who has a definitive knowledge of this unit might post up the correct way to use it.
Me again, sorry I got it wrong....... Ive spoken to God ( me mate) What you do is set the meter to the 10 watt scale,,,, Now set top switch to SWR using the rotary nob adjust LEFT meter to 10,,,,, Right meter will show SWR......... Switch back to Power,,,, Left meter shows power Right meter shows SWR....
Hope that helps Tom

I got a brand new one last week. Set top switch to SWR and other switch to a suitable power level. Key the mic and set the left meter to the end off the scale ( 10 ) and the other meter will give you an SWR reading. For power reading just set top switch to WATT and read off the left meter. 10w - is 10w. 100w is x10 on the meter. And 1kw is x100 on the meter.
Paul.

Big thanks Paul! This confirms to me what Tom has found out for me.

The Zetagi 203w seems like i nice bit of kit but there is not the usual youtube vids on this model.
Hopefully others will find this and be helped too!
