Got my young bro on the air on pmr got his sirio cx-440[440-455mhz] up to day, and his new pmr radio a crt space-uhf, and got it pre programmed from knights, and had my first home based contact on chan 1 as the crow flyes 20 miles, and my antenna was not high up can go to 25f but it was about 7ft, no sig strength but very clean clear audio, yes I have had lots from the hills but not from home to home , and it will get better,
