HI all,

I have purchased myself the Official Foundation Licene book from the RSGB and start ESSEX HAMs online course early next month.
Really enjoyed it so far. I was a standard radio operator in the Army and it's ringing a lot of bells.

Wish me luck

Rich

Stick with the Essex course and you will pass.
I passed on Tuesday but did the course and many many mock tests.
When i started the exam i didn't get one single question that i had seen before but the ones i did get rang bell's.
Only got one question that i had never heard about but all the rest came to mind when i read them 2 or 3 times first ( i am dyslexic so drummed that into my head ).
Good luck and keep us in the loop.

Hi Rich,

Good to hear you taking your radio ventures further 👍

Like Alan, I had also taken the Essex Ham course route and can highly recommend them. Many brush the course and exam off as being easy but there's a lot of stuff to learn to pass that exam. The course will keep on you on track too, something much needed when studying from home.

Good luck with your studies! Smile

All the best,
Victor

Just a tip.
Look in your junk mail if you don't here from them at Essex ham.
You should get email accepting you and then the night before the course starts i think lol.
