Starting exam query

Forgot to ask dave when he did the video chat last night, Cisco Web ex gets open 15mins before exam starts, do you minus the window so you can open test reach where I presume the exam questions are, thanks

Yes just open testreach it will take over your screen.
You then can't do anything on your computer until you have finished the exam and clicked "end test".
You can still talk to the invigilator when testreach is open but that is all other than do the exam.
When he contacts you a few days before he will tell you what conferencing software to use as i think Victor had to use web-ex but i had to use Zoom.
You are exactly the same as i was overthinking Victor will tell you that as it was him who i kept turning too.
It's only natural.

Thanks done the Web chat, just about ready for next week, he told me print out the extra 20 pages off rsgb, which I have done, going off that 70 plus questions I am getting my wife to test me as the answer is on the page, based on that 70,,, I got three wrong....

Nice post on Qrz, because the icom won't do uhf/vhf, I have baofeng will put up a sharman for 70cm, I think we all need some holiday Sun,, looking forward to going back to the canaries later in the year.. I am glad I have done all the studying it's got to go the right way,, now I have all the time, and now I don't have to drive my taxi around, which I have been doing the Last, 40 years..

Yes it doesn't take long took me under half an hour and with my dyslexia i read every question 3 times and then went back threw most of them.
You can mark ones that you are not 100% about and then go back to them.
There was 3 of us taking the exam at the same time and you can see them at the start of the call but not when doing the exam.
Was just looking at the repeaters and GB3MP is down at the moment but we will be able to talk on that one definitely but they keep turning it off due to a unlicensed iq0 playing and some licence holders retaliating witch as should be very fresh in your mind you shouldn't.
Think it's down for 2 more weeks but you will have to have a listen in on the Sausage and Scouse net every morning 10.15 but you might fall asleep lol.    
After typing all that i am presuming you have a 2m radio ??? .

Did you look at the logbook and my aerial is not any higher than 15/16ft at the high end.

The iq0 that has managed to get GB3MP turned off uses a baofeng and obviously it opens the repeater so we could well be talking very soon when it's back on.

One other thing.
You will need your pen right at the start to write your pin number down he will give you just before the exam.
It's to login to the exam then just watch for the green tick and your off.
I know you will have all this just thinking back to my exam.
