Morning all
Will keep this short and to the point
Are any members based in the Berkshire area of the UK? If so, would anyone be free say Thursday or Friday (any time - working in the garden shed) to help my test my initial set up in terms of signal, readability and rx? Not really explored SSD yet, but all I can say is so far the 40 FM channels are so dead that I wonder if the setup is actually working! OK, did hear someone briefly on 19, but would have expected "something". Have called out, but nothing. Would just be nice to have an organised test so I can benchmark the set up locally.

Hi Mark,
I hope you get some takers or someone to help you out. We've got a friendly bunch here and sometimes in the past members have even driven by someone's QTH just to get a radio report. (How helpful is that!)
Not everyone that gets a callsign frequents the forum so it might be worth posting as well to the Charlie Tango Facebook page, (Our Paddy does a fantastic job over there). Might help you get more takers.
There's a kiwiSDR fairly near you at Farnham, might be worth looking at that and see if you get a signal into their receiver. You'll probably stand a better chance on SSB into that receiver though. Link below :-

Hope that helps. Good luck.
All the best, Victor

Cheers Victor.
Made copy just now with someone a few miles away (phew) - as soon as I got into the garden office today. I forgot how noisy FM is / was (!) - but really made up that at least the system works! I was getting ready to buy a handset and send the family off down the road to check it out!

Glad you managed to make a contact Mark and at least confirm your setup is working.
That's one box ticked!
Enjoy yourself.
All the best, Victor

There are a few stations out Thacham way who get on channel 32 27.91125 FM if you are looking for a chin wag.
