Im struggling with with my SS recieving electrical arcing noise across all bands from a lamp post that flickers every 25 seconds or so in a 4 second burst.

I have tried raising my antenna another meter up in height, made an air choke, added ferrite beads, isolated my 'shack' from the mains, all with no success.
I am tempted to open the lamp and turn it off, but I'd probably be in trouble if I did this.
I looked at the spectrum using my sdr radio ,tried to upload the pic here, but that doesnt work.
The noise is a click click click [like engine ignition -but it isnt an engine] then screeeeech all across 20-30Mhz ramping up to s9 on ssb. FM is.....manageable at s5. damned annoying as it pretty much renders radio useage Useless. Not line feed noise, definitely is recieving noise.
It does also make 1.25 & 2 meters suffer poor reception too.

Best thing you can do is report a street lighting fault, saying its unsafe for the elderly or visually impaired to walk the street at night being unable to see trip hazards.
Since if they fix the flickering light, it may also fix the RFI you're experiencing as well.
You have to use a safety concern for the vulnerable to get anything done, if you report Radio Interference they will never turn up.
Short of filling the lamppost with petrol and being careless with a match, I think the best way to resolve this is to appeal to the safety of others.
Thing is, as the lamp ''still works' , it's flicker wouldnt bother anyone and as far as the council are 'concerned' nothing will be done. My council are particularly lazy with these sort of issues and would only ignore me if I made a report.
The last time I reported a broken light in a dark area, the council fitted a super bright led one [ from Wembly Stadium ] that inturn the residents complained about as it was so bright. This resulted in the council removing the light all together !
So I need a way, if there is one to ''Filter'' out the noise.

For HF a noise canceller if all else fails. Some times called a QRM Eliminator, some say they work some don't. Also try a mains filter if you have not, just in case it's coming up the mains.
Follow GM3SEK's clean up your shack and if it persists it's most likely 'airbourne'. https://gm3sek.com/2019/10/11/clean-up-your-shack-2019/

A pal has offered for me to try his QRM Eliminator, so I shall within time.
I wondered aout a line filter since I ve not actually tried one yet. I did the 'remove the Earth' from the plug, which made no difference.
I am pretty certain that since I can have my antenna indoors and recieve no noise what so ever, but upon 'erecting' it up outside the noise comes in from outside. My location is not good for radio as Im in a built up area.
Would I be able to use this line filter withOut the ferrites - it just seems a lot of hassle..
I appreciate everyones replies, thank you .
Homebase isn't the fun I hoped it would be.

I would still report the lamp as faulty. They come in daylight to fit a new part
