i have a albrecht 2990 afs ssb,i need to increce the power output from 2watts to a good transmit power,can eny body help.ct3624.

According the the spec it has two power settings, low 1 Watt and high 4 Watts.

It will only do 2wots on full power,i need to set the presents to get to 4watts i think, thanks for the reply.

Will kill the battery a lot faster and i don't think it will make that much difference. A dipole on a fishing pole on top of a hill is your best bet well i would think. What batteries does it run off ???.
