I happen to have recently purchased the same model, and spend considerable time faffing about with various programming software, codeplugs, firmware and CSV files to get it to work how I wanted... I wish I'd researched beforehand, as it appears to be a model that is plagued by issues depending on the firmware version it's shipped with—the old adage I suppose, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Give me a shout if you're still facing issues, I'll do my best to assist with the knowledge I've gained having ferreted around various forums and testing, etc. recently.

Hi I managed to snipe bid one of these 1702 and have the software and lead. besides the annoying tone when it switches on and the dicky volume switch which reaches a point and then sound disappears. I am happy with the radio, it is ok on DMR BM/FreeDMR/TGIFDMR no problems, the Analogue audio is extremely good. I use it for my allstar node and get many compliments on the audio quality (granted that may be down to the allstar software) . I picked mine up for £19.99 including postage brand new boxed, so i really dont have any complaints. I also have a TYT MD380 which sounds much the same on the network and DMR. Once you get the correct programming software, it is no harder to learn than the TYT, but getting your head around DMR programming is a whole new ballgame, compared to analogue radios. If you need any info that i can give you. Drop me a line. Andy 2M0AIV

I bought a Baofeng DM-1702 and I couldn't get it to be detected by windows 10. I guess it's a driver problem. I would be very grateful if you would tell me where you got the software with which you have connected.
Thank you very much. Kind regards. Rob

I tried, but the installer ended with unexpected errors. It seems to be in Chinese.

I´m sorry, It did not work. But maybe you can help me with a detail about handling that I can't find how to do it. I have a channel number 13 that appears as Digital (with the letter D), and I want to convert it to analog. I can't find the way in the menu. The Firmware version is 02.02.023.
