Great conditions yesterday with stateside worked from the mobile,also heard 43 Australia and 44 South Africa but was on the motorway at the time so couldn't pull over. Most of Europe also heard or worked...

Popped out to the local garage and heard Brazil calling on T5 so called back to Victor 3SD150 in Carlinda, Mato Grosso and had a nice 5 min qso then a quick contact with 3AT027...

I think your set-up is similar to mine. I mainly use an ft450d and a Sirio 4000 or a Yeticom Optima with an Icom sm30 mic. Need to get another amp sorted as my kl405 is kaputsky.

Yes John i use the FT450d and Sirio 4000 and my trusty kl400.....
Often just using the radio 100w and doing just as well but prefer the amp as i would rather blow that than the radios finals..

Three hours of free time so i headed off to a high spot to get my fix with 34 Canaries/3 Brazil/32 Chile/2 USA/68 Northern Ireland/108 Scotland all worked. My love of radio has certainly had its ups and downs but i am loving being mobile/static atm.....I even run down one of my leisure batteries with all the rag chewing..

I've always enjoyed working E skip and there are signs the longer dx is ending as spring marches on....but with 11m you can never tell as i was working 108 div back in February....
That is why i am still fascinated with radio..

Not had much time for radio for 3 weeks, but I have the radio on in the car, Germany and France on Fm, strong during the morning, had a few good long distances contacts with in North Finland, hope to be on the radio in the morning,

A few good contacts over the last couple of days with Reunion island,Madeira island and San Francisco all worked from the mobile..Particularly happy with West coast USA and conditions very good atm. Heard Lebanon and Qatar as well but i was driving at the time.

Heard 43WR111 Queensland on 27.490 just a short time ago but there was no way i was breaking his pile up and with him running 2kw into a 4 ele yagi he was making his own prop. I was static on top of a 7 storey car park for added asl...

Remember to use the zeros when searching the band as some of the above were worked on .610/.620 and .630.

Same thing Cozzmik,Loads of great activations on the zero’s. I’ve worked so far and am still on the radio.lol Uruguay,Brazil, Barbados,New Zealand, Canary Islands, Indonesia, Thailand, Qatar and Bonaire. She’s gonna kill me when the lecky bill arrives.
