Was so good condition for DX from 07.00 am local time, and dropped of 13,30 Finland, 11 30 uk time.

this past month on the super bowl channel 6 mid band Am,it has been great lots of great contacts its very strong and it means bad weather on its way, but as soon as the weather gets better, we get the eu coming in, thing is i am mostly on midband Am chan 6 and chan 14 and the 555, it was that good the super bowl i was picking it up on my . Pni escort hp 62 and mid band am with its little 7 inch antenna ,and it not even summer yet.

11M in Finland is very active, most of the EU very strong, even FM Muppets are strong on FM, seem to be from North East coast of UK.

Day off and some radio time between gardening and other DIY proved worth while with a few contacts into Romania,Canada,Jamaica and Usa...I worked 2ct552 Alan but didn't ask if he was a member but looking thru the members list i see he isnt...

The band was in great shape today. Despite the wind and rain I managed to lash my good old Anton up beside the car.
I had some great contacts and added to my 'Winter Challenge score. Not loads of contacts, but the QSOs were lengthy and nice. This is why I still enjoy cb after all these years.

I got home a few hours ago and while parked on my driveway i flicked down from T5 and stopped on .405 usb listening to stateside at s9+,it wasn't till i called in and got a return i realised Bill was using a vertical 827 from California...
It's been sometime since i made a vertical to vertical contact to the West coast....he was using 1.5kw but my measily 100w was giving him 7 to 9...
Just when you feel a bit flat a simple chat to a random stranger thousands of miles away can lift your mood...that and my wife had made a hot pot,mmmm my favourite..

2 weeks since last on the radio, have been listening wile driving around, work and shops, USA has been very strong for a few days now, today i have free day, so i hope the radio is active, DIV 1 so far the only DX at my location.
