Uk and most of them Eu strong now, State side just floating over now on mid band.

Nice conditions today, Mk Kinley working well, basic mods, about 22w out on SSB good link up with the Southern Net today, once again Fm cross modulation from Germany.

Hearing lots of 2 and 9 div. I heard a station from Oregon and oh so briefly worked into California. 44 div was strong, too.

Hello, same problem for me in North Finland, nothing , Swedish language on 27.285, but may of been coming from Finland, as Swedish is our 2nd language.

Weird conditions on all HF bands today. On 40m this morning, the RSGB newsreader couldn't communicate with any UK stations but carried on regardless. I could hear him in France. 10m was dead all day and 20m only a few European stations.
It had picked up a bit by the time I gave up a couple of hours ago, but nothing like it should be.
None of that helped when I was also fighting QRM from my MPPT solar charger, looks like I will have to re-site my portable antenna that's on a boot mount.

Yep, the angry Sun sure made it challenging today. But I like a challenge. Mostly been listening whilst playing with wires in the loft. Heard Swindoners make quite a few QSOs to the US on 27.385 LSB, so there were workable openings. Had a few QRP digital QSOs on 10m this evening into Africa and South America so I guess the solar storm effects are easing.

Received some short skip SSTV images yesterday afternoon on 27.700MHz from 19DCG955 and 14EK057. Makes a change from the long DX signals recently from south America. Anyone else making short skip contacts? Is the Sporadic E season now underway?
