Hi Geoff,
I've had a little bit of a tidy up of the forum placing your posts together here.
Are you clicking the "Insert All" button on the servimg box after selecting your image(s)?
You'll get there I'm sure and we'll be looking forward to seeing this messy bench of yours.
If you can keep further attempts within this posting it'll save me from having to tidy up duplicate posts but I'll happily clean up this posting when you're successful.
All the best, Victor

Constructive criticism feedback. This site is too awkward to navigate and restrictive in posting pictures, links and videos.
I've managed to work it out, re posting pictures etc, but it could be better/easier to attract new members and gain more input in my opinion.

Hi 'sharpshooter', (my apologies but no name is given in your profile or here).
There can always be improvements to anything when appropriate feedback is given so thanks for your time in providing such. I do however see that you've managed to navigate the tool bars in being able to post an image so well done.
We do try to provide as much input for new members as possible whilst not always being present such as the large red lettering on the 'New Member' section which unfortunately many seem to miss. There is only so much we can do.
There is also a restriction for new members posting links etc. in a best attempt to prevent 'spamming' of the forum so that we aren't deluged with inappropriate material or money making ventures. I hope that this is understandable.
As already mentioned if anyone is stuck at all they can always post a 'shout-out' on the forum where I'm sure helpful members will be ably to assist each other.
All the best, Victor

Thanks Victor. Yes I understand the need to be restrictive. And apologies for being critical. It wasn't meant to be detrimental, It was more a perspective of someone new to the forum. Although I have experience of forums and thought it may be hard for some new members and they may just give up. Please excuse me as I'm starting to get old lol. Also last night was my first off from night shifts and I was drunk from celebrating. Using a phones small screen with failing eyesight probably doesn't help So I may miss things.
All the best.
Nige

Hi Nige,
No worries at all and no apology required in any way. I well remember struggling along trying to suss the forum when I was first here and as you mention most forums seem to be slightly different. (I just put it all down to my old fart brain! ) All feedback on the forum is always appreciated as well as any members input to it all.
I was sure someone had posted a basic tutorial somewhere but can't seem to find it at the moment. I have grandchildren staying with us at the mo but when I'm free again I'll have a better look.
Thanks again.
All the best, Victor

Haha yes I have grandchildren here too Victor A "latest posts" option in the taskbar is a handy feature to save scrolling, and notification of replies. But again I'm learning the way of the forum and don't want to seem impertinent. And I had an alcohol fueled enthusiasm to attract new members and more people on air. And I'm not even back on air myself yet
