That's looks like a great mod by removing the LED spot light and replacing it with an antenna connection.
Surely that must give a much better range than the stubby thing it's equipped with?
Either way it's a great looking modification, well thought out and more visually appealing than drilling a whacking big hole in the stubby antenna moulding.

Thank's Victor. I managed a 26 mile contact on 446 I had it coupled with a Retevis 771 antenna, Fleetwood to Jubilee Tower's in Lancaster with me even being on low ground.

Nice one Danny.
That's good going with that setup and shows it's working as well as it can.
I think the furthest I managed when I was playing with PMR was about 50 odd miles from Bedford to the Thames in London, (similar story with 70cm unsurprisingly) with a UV5r, but I was using a homebrew Yagi at the time.
Not only a good looking modification but working well too.
