Good morning all, or what ever the time maybe when you read this
Dutchie here, 19 CT 36.
I have an Sirio 27-45 Gpa:
...at around 12meters high for DX, and I was thinking to upgrade that to an a99 for DX.
While tempting as it maybe, an IMAX 2000, nor an Sirio Gain-Master is an option due to its length.
Is it worth the upgrade or should I stick to the Sirio Gpa?
What do you think?

Hi Jurgen,
The general consensus regards vertical antennas is that a half wave is better than a quarter wave and a five eighths is best of all. That however depends on your local terrain and how far above ground the antenna is mounted.
With the heights you're suggesting and the flat terrain of the Netherlands you should see an overall improvement with your DX activities.
It can all get ugly let alone contentious discussing antennas from apparent personal opinions to lengthy technical arguments so often worth keeping it simple.
