Hi I’ve used a cb many years ago. I have finally got back into it after many years. I would please like to request a call sign many thanks

Hi Victor sorry to bother you I'm just wondering do I use the number 26 at the beginning as well? Sorry to ask it's just as I say I haven't used one for a few years and I just can't remember

No bother at all there Wayne.

Most people drop the 26 when talking locally as it is the identifier for your country of England but obviously comes in handy for DX work. When shouting for a DX it's always worthwhile shortening to "26CT" or "Two-Six-Charlie-Tango" and if they call back the '26 division' or England you can add the rest of your numbers which gives a unique identifier to yourself. Having the CT site is handy for contacts wishing to verify you or even make further contact for QSL's etc.

All handy stuff, for free, with no subscription. 
We're just all radio enthusiasts doing our very best to help out fellow enthusiasts.
