Well I gave it a go, but only heard faint voices that were being overun by QRM, so went over to the North West Net for a good evening there. I'll try again another week, as I found that the North East Net suffered so much from QRM that they had to change frequencies to be able to continue. So conditions might well make it doable for me another night. I hope it was a good net for you. Best wishes Al 26TD133

I was just coming on the board to say the same. Came over to 27,275 along with 26CT4785 and we thought that we could hear stations in the distance. Tried calling out but just too far out there unfortunately. I did make contact on the NE 27,375 net with 26AT281 Andy QTH Leeds though who could hear me calling into theirs. NW net on 27,365? If so heard nothing there but to be fair did not stay on that frequency long. 73's Wally

Hi Wally, glad to hear you made it into the North East Net. That's where I'm usually to be found on a Wednesday evening, but like to catch up with the North West guys for the first and last Weds. of the month. Al
