Silver rod half wave. Do I higher or lower the rods for 10 meter gain? Thanks

Hello Pauline,
If you want to make your antenna resonant on the 10 meter band you will need to shorten it.
You do however need to be a licenced radio amateur to transmit anywhere on the 10 meter band. You can't use your CT call sign there. Listening is ok but you really don't need to re adjust it to listen just 1MHz up in frequency.
Gain is different to resonance but that's a broader discussion.
Best 73 Gary.
