Hi dudes, I'm currently running a 5/8 thunderpole silverrod, she's mounted on the side of my garage on t and k brackets and a 3m pole.
Although at factory pen mark settings I get 1.5swr I can't get it any lower, it's 1.5 on every channel between 1 to 40.
I know 1.5 is acceptable but my OCD craves a solid 1.0.
Should I let it go? I've tried getting it lower but it isn't happening.
What do you think? What swr have you got?

Hello Mike,
1.5 is absolutely fine you won't see any appreciable benefit of getting down to 1.0 anyway.
Enjoy your radio and forget about it!!
Best 73 Gary.
