Im back on the air after over 40 years. I have had radio gear since but only when off roading. Ive dusted off the old Ham International Major 558 for now but will probably be investing in something else. Based in the midlands on the far west of Birmingham. Ill see how i get on after building a t2lt. Thinking about a foundation license too. If you hear me out there come and say hello once i have a call sign. All the best everyone. PK

Hello MrPK,
Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
If you can give us your first name for the call sign list I can get you allocated a call sign.
The reason we ask for a first name is that you can hardly be identified to a precise location from such but it helps us immensely should you ever forget your login details. (Believe me as an admin for some years we do get a lot of forgotten logins.)
All the best, Victor

Thank you both very much for the welcome and for the CT call sign. Looks like things have moved on vastly in technology in the last 40 odd years since i got my first CB for Christmas in 81 at the tender age of 14. A Rotel 220 back then that i managed to get some amazing overseas contacts on. Trouble was, my dad didnt believe me. He said the radio wouldnt reach that far. That was before I learnt about 'skip' - he changed his tune once he did hear. All the best everyone. 26 CT 5035 - OUT
