I watch them all just to see what they get. My mk1 is still in the box with all the bits. The mk2 is like new but no box. I also have a boxed Uniden HR2510 but the mount is missing but have some 3d printer sides to mount it.

I have on original Lincoln model 1 which I got brand new in 2000. Still to this day, It works perfectly fine. I also got a Lincoln model 2 v4 about two years ago, and that is again like the model 1... flawless.
The only gripe with them is a small one, you can't get exactly on frequency to use 11metres. Same on both radios, you can get to (for example) 27.781 but you can't actually get the .25 at the end.
Then again, they were never designed for use on CB frequencies... but it's a small gripe I can live with.
Cracking radios for sure.

Once you get the hang of it you WILL like it i think. A m8 of mine has offered me mega money for my boxed one but no it sit's on the shelf and i don't have to feed it lol. I do take it out for a run in the car now and again and it sit's on the dash so no scratching it as it still looks new.

Mk1 Lincoln much better if you want to use it in a VFO mode, tuning like a ham radio does rather than channelised like a CB.

The Lincoln 1 is one of those radios that is very good but not exceptional at everything.
Many radios work better in certain areas but few have the blend of abilities that it has.
AM (if you use it) is probably it's weakest area due to being only single conversion.
