I see some of you have got scores on the doors already today, well done! A few QSOs to some not so common ones too, amazing for day 1. I've been in an Amazon type rainforest (in Berkshire) for most of today, but managed a few on my return
Will start updating the leaderboard from tomorrow.

Middle east and VK booming in early this morning. Sadly, with my mobile whip, 30w, and in a geographic hole, I got nowt, despite becoming hoarse trying. I did get the Dubai station ask me several times to repeat my callsign which he got wrong before he gave up. Ah well.
Well done those who did get through.
Thinking of hanging a random temporary bit of wire in a tree, or across the roof of the house, but I'd need a 49/1 unun I think.

The OK/OM DX contest starts today at 12:00 UTC. Just for awareness, as it might bring a few stations up on 10m for us try for in our challenge.
It was this same contest I entered a courtesy log for during our challenge a couple of years ago and got a 1st place in the category I entered in with just 3 QSOs lol.
If you do get make a QSO or two this afternoon, put your entry in, you never know you might win...

Match my 2022 OK/OM contest entry of 3 contacts again today, we'll see where it places me this time
Only one of them got me a point for this challenge though, USA. Did anyone else work this contest or any of the other few contests on today to gain any points for our challenge? I worked 2 Asiatic Russia's in the Yuri Gagarin which brought me 1 more point.

Just for the record, I have changed my TO60CSG logged contact for the challenge from entity France to French Guiana. Didn't realize it wasn't France until this evening when listening to them again. Their QRZ page is currently showing flag of France because of address details of their QSL manager, but the activation is French Guinea. The change has made no difference to my total.

Yes, not been any exciting openings yet.. at least not to my QTH when I have had the radio on. My first Italian of the month was on 25th. I was hoping more would be on this weekend for the ARI contest and that I would at least be able to snap Sardinia for a point, but nope it was 99% Brazil being picked up here every time I turned the radio on.
There's been a few fleeting E's, ones that have lasted just a few minutes. Worked Spain and Balearics, but Scotland and Ireland disappeared completely as soon as I called them.
