Sorry to hear so expensive antenna is gone .... fiberglass i think ? it suppose to be strong, supersized to read this, but you mentioned storm, i can image ... if no one reply you, take a look at Sirio 1/2 wave GPE cheaper about same half wave & does works well ... the Swedish repeater at ch20 had this Sirio GPE antenna up for long time & worked well (at least coming down to my area)
ΕDIT ... if you can, next time find a way & put in the middle of the antenna (not the mast) some thick fishing line, is plastic & won't effect the transmission of the antenna, will help not bend with winds
