Wonder if anyone can advise me I've just took delivery of my new Anytone quad 6 put up a gpa silver rod with an set of 1.2 to 1 yet I have a constant S8 of static?? Can anyone advise me on possible remedies?? Thanks Julian CT5903

Hello Julian and welcome to Charlie Tango
This problem is the curse of being set up at home.
There are many different way of locating and trying to cure the noise problem and I will list the one's that I know and hopefully others will post there ideas or solutions.
Have you done a walk around your house/flat/bungalow and turned off things like LED lights, solar lights, router, Smart meter, laptop/phone on charge near the radio?
Have you tried to run the radio of a battery to see if the noise is being caused by the power supply?
If you do locate the problem then fixing it can be easy. If not the ferrite collars and chokes could help, grounding the radio maybe?
