Hi, I've been looking for a rig that will act as a second option for my FT450D across 10-11mtrs. The 450D is a little large for hand luggage when traveling, espacilly when you add in a PSU. I'm limited to the options available in my country but since I found out that CB radio's in Portugal do not need to be type approved, just comply with the law as far as transmitting is concerned this has opened up more options for me.
Has anyone experience of the AT 6666PRO? It looks like a great rig and is available in my country for around €300 which is about £250. I've seen them cheaper in the UK but import duty etc. means this is not an option.
Mostly I'd like to hear about ease of use, clarity of signal and it's ability to stay on frequency as I've looked at other 10mtr rigs that can be converted to 11mtrs and some seem to drift. You can't beat hearing about experiences of living with a rig first hand.
Thank you

Thanks Bunkerbill, it sounds like it's a winner. Also looks like it will run from 10m through to 15m so it sounds like it'll make a nice addition. The mod looks super simple too. Thanks so much for the recommendation.

Great radio which will cover 10/11/12/15m bands. Plenty of power, small size.
Just be aware that it does get hot....... Very hot!
I've got loads of videos on my YouTube channel showing it in action.

Thanks Delboy. I doubt I'll use it's full output tbh as I rarely run my Yaesu more the 50w and often only around 25w. Still it is good to be aware that it gets V hot. I would certainly be opening it up from 10 through to 15mtrs. I'll take a look at your videos.
