Hey, thanks for the reply. I was trying to gauge if there was much interest but maybe there isn't!
I doubt I'll make the trip down to Wisbech but would be good to try.
I can do all modes but would be nice to try UK FM first, I'll be on UK 30 at 9pm on Wednesday.

Listened and heard nothing on 27,365 USB and had been told earlier in the day that there was possibly a net on that frequency. Called out and raised a mate of mine in Mablethorpe who had heard the same as I had. Otherwise it was quiet. Will give ch 30-27,89125 a go next week if able. There is a net on 27,515 USB on Thursday chaired by a station near Grimsby that runs from 8-10pm. On there most Thursdays and 27,555 or 27,265 USB/FM generally otherwise 73's Wally

Would that be Rod up in Grimsby?
Can you say hello to him from Ray, chairman of the Southern and South Coast SSB Net.
Good luck with next week

The post maybe over 2 years old, but the net is still going and I did get a chance to call in and make a very weak copy with Rod in Grimsby.

Hi all, been in the shack today, seeing the propagation this morning it was so rubbish everyone was saying it on clusterDX. Just had a bit of faint skip on ssb between 27.475 - 27.605. EU bands quiet, got some locals on UK19ch, sometimes music comes through.
still learning 73s mark

Hi Mark I am not far from you and am on 27,555 early mornings and along the Lincolnshire Coast we do have an informal net on 27,265 both FM and USB. Could be found there any ol' time but mostly late afternoons or early evenings. You would be welcome should you QSK! 73's Wally
