| I have reset my Maas DX5000 radio to the 10 metre band and now there is a continual feedback noise when powering up and this is not affected by adjusting the volume control. | |

Thank you for the response. I switched off and held the FUNC & SCAN keys together while powering on. | |

| I have a ss69oon i have changed the mic to a power mic,now i get feedback thrue the speker even when I put the oringal mic back,can enybody help,chris ct6324 | |

1. Press and hold the FUNC button. 2. Go to the second option n09. This is the talkback level setting and goes from off to 63. | |

when you changed to a power mic, are you sure it was wired for your radio? sounds daft but pin 4 carries voltage from your radio. | |

| To the OP.
You need a programming cable and a copy of the file with all the bands in.
Did you just get it was it from a shop as they might be able to help.
