I have reset my Maas DX5000 radio to the 10 metre band and now there is a continual feedback noise when powering up and this is not affected by adjusting the volume control.

Hi Thank you for the response. I switched off and held the FUNC & SCAN keys together while powering on.

Tried that no feedback but no modulation on tx on all modes
when you changed to a power mic, are you sure it was wired for your radio? sounds daft but pin 4 carries voltage from your radio.

To the OP. You need a programming cable and a copy of the file with all the bands in. Did you just get it was it from a shop as they might be able to help.
TO WILL63 Why don't you start your own post as your hijack on this one did the op no favours did it.

Thank you Alan Pilot. Bit of a mix up as I started this post and someone else has used it with an other query?
