It is amazing how it has come full circle, Victor. Back in the day, we caused interference, now it is the other way around. Lol.

It would be nice to have a home-base set-up, but it would be a waste of time with the noise and poor geographical location. Plus I have two very garden proud neighbours who would be less than thrilled with the antennas going up. I would not want to upset them as I get on very well with them.

It has indeed John Wink

But it can all come back biting us unsuspectingly on the bum!

That RFI is gonna play havoc with other radio dependant devices such as mobile phones and wi-fi connectivity. After consumers blame the providers, (who'll deny everything), they'll be looking for answers and that poor Ham or CBer's antennas are an easy target to point the complaining gnarly finger at!  Shocked

Like you I get on with my neighbours, which is why all my antennas are hidden. I put up with BBQ smoke, dogs barking and RFI causing devices, but at least they don't have to stare at my antenna farm....

Nothing to point the gnarly finger at. Very Happy
