It is amazing how it has come full circle, Victor. Back in the day, we caused interference, now it is the other way around. Lol.
It would be nice to have a home-base set-up, but it would be a waste of time with the noise and poor geographical location. Plus I have two very garden proud neighbours who would be less than thrilled with the antennas going up. I would not want to upset them as I get on very well with them.

It has indeed John
But it can all come back biting us unsuspectingly on the bum!
That RFI is gonna play havoc with other radio dependant devices such as mobile phones and wi-fi connectivity. After consumers blame the providers, (who'll deny everything), they'll be looking for answers and that poor Ham or CBer's antennas are an easy target to point the complaining gnarly finger at!
Like you I get on with my neighbours, which is why all my antennas are hidden. I put up with BBQ smoke, dogs barking and RFI causing devices, but at least they don't have to stare at my antenna farm....
Nothing to point the gnarly finger at.

Ive been so lucky with my neigbours I've had , when me and Mrs first got married and got out first home we had the downstairs flat and the huge 100ft back garden of a 3 storie house and antenna was one of the jobs of being put up my father in law done it for me and nobody said anything, then when we moved to a bigger house due to growing family the same thing one of the first jobs antenna up same thing not one person complained, and I've lived at this present house for over 20 odd years.
