Yes it's gone flat here as well not as busy as before, that's my time up for today, the kids and wife have given me a little bit of me-time for Father's Day, how the day goes so quickly.

The skip yesterday was a bit up and down but it just makes us work a bit harder,Tried something different for a change and decided to try and work a repeater. Ottenstein Niedersachsen Germany 26.955 MHz which is about 500 miles from London.Super radio 5 and +10 either way I just have to remember the pause for the repeated message..lol Great bunch of lads across the 13 Division and more then helpful. Thanks again chaps 13 EK 400,13 EK 209,13 MST 14 and 13 PT 01. Then a repeater in Portugal 27.245 MHz LSB sadly we couldn’t understand each other and the only English he knew was Black Sabbath and Ozzy… The rest was a mix and match of divisions and frequencies.1 ET 180 Micheal Venice,68 C1 999,108 OP 115,13 GL 01,29 SD 010,29 SM 090 and even a 1 division on Am in Milan.(Crazy).Finally I could hear the USA on their calling channel 38 LSB but sadly they never heard me no matter how many times I shouted..🤪 Let’s see what today brings as things are certainly getting better by the day.(Where’s the sun gone)
Cheers 26 CT 4029.

The vagaries of hf prop, Tony. It still fascinates how the conditions can change so quickly.

Yeah, mostly dead. I'm up on a hill for an hour before I have to work. Thought I'd have a good shot at getting a couple of AM contacts on the anniversary thing today, but haven't heard anyone yet.
US superbowl is just starting to roll in now though, so might get interesting in a bit.

Last night and early this morning was amazing Dx.Firstly 13 Division’s in Berlin and Düsseldorf and then Pavia Italy (1AN 448). Then the fun started with a 31 Division in Torre Gondomi Portugal,The old fella lives 3000 metres up the side of a mountain. Then finally Chechnya LZ1 5mf (strange call sign) I had to check Google maps to see where he was. It’s situated in the North Caucasus and close to the Caspian Sea in Russia.Same here I didn’t know that either..lol But I do know now its 2171 miles from my QTH. What an amazing session and the old Sirio doing me proud as always.Let’s see what tomorrow brings. 26 CT 4029

Well done Tom, especially on the Chechnya one. You've smashed my furthest contact since coming back to this back to this by about 900 miles! That LZ1 call sign looks kinda Bulagian Ham like.
Been pretty busy during the day at the moment so just had a few minutes in the evenings. Only caught a little north / south sporadic to mostly France and north and northern Ireland.

Thanks SangueG,its definitely smashed my furthest DX contact to date so far.Which was division 21 Sweden and 329 the Czech Republic.I should have asked about his callsign but his English was broken and my Russian is non existent..lol I’ll definitely be using the Lower Side Bands more as I mostly receive super strong 1 Divisions and loadsa echo. Cheers. 26 CT 4029
