Can't help out Paddy I'm afraid but I'll do my best to search one out. (the CSV file I presume?)
Paul's right in the cable he mentions for the rear mini-b usb, but I've also seen those that have the 5555 cable and plugged that directly into the main board for programming. (I think DelBoy or SimonTheWizard mentioned it but will have to check their sites.)
The 'Prolific' driver problems seem to afflict most everyone using a Windows OS but I've never had any problem on my Linux system it being able to fire any USB/RS232 UART. (Even the 'clone' Prolifics). I even made my own UART up using a CP2102 module and can pretty much wire it up to anything I fancy.
Hope you get sorted but I'll try searching nonetheless.

Thanks for that Paul.
Victor, Yes, I assume a .csv file. I’m sure we had one on the forum way back. I’ll check the old forum out see if anything’s there. Must be pretty dusty in the by now, lol.

Had a search around for a data file for you Paddy without any success. Most mentions on other forums end with the posters emailing each other the data file with no download link unfortunately .
I too thought we had a file somewhere and I've done a few 'Indiana Jones' quests through the cobwebs of the old forum myself.
If you get really stuck I'm sure the radio resets to export mode? (Might have to check that one out before doing it.) Then it's the pain of entering in the UK FM frequencies yourself via the software.
At least after that PITA process you'll be certain to make yourself a back up file.

I could write you a DAT file Paddy. What version of AT-6666 have you got. And how would you like the frequencies set up.
Paul.
That’s really good of you Paul, if I’m honest I have no idea what version I have although I have v.2 in my head. As for set up I don’t really mind I think before it was Band A UKFM and the other bands hi-lo etc on the rest. I will say it had 10m in it which I wouldn’t want as I’m giving it to a friend coming back to the hobby. Wiping it wasn’t really a problem for me as I just used frequencies but I’m sure he’ll be used to channels.
If this is too much Paul please don’t worry about it. There must be one out there. Thanks again mate.

Hi Paddy. Started on Band A with UK40 but computer is slow today. No 10mtr no problem. Can you not use the radio in VFO mode the put 6 most used channels into the memories. Thats what i did whei i had a 6666. Still do it now on my V4 9900. Easy done.
