Subject: Crt 7900 pc software error Thu Jul 08, 2021 8:51 am
I am trying to load a dat file into the software so I can upload it to radio but every time I try to open the dat file I get and error saying (Not isnumeric) this is not a cable or driver issue as this is when trying to open the dat file with the crt 7900 software on the pc. I have tried a couple of dat files now a couple from Sgt bilco and a couple from other people and I get the same message every time. It can't be the software as I can read from the radio no problem. Anyone had this issue and was able to fix it ? If so could you please help me out. Thank you

Fixed it there are 2 files you need for the radio one is the dat file and the other is a .fre file now the both have to be in the same folder and the .fre file has to be exactly the same name as the dat file for it to work

thats why we buy ours pre programmed saves all the hassle but happy you are working now.
