I've had an RF burn from touching the end of end fed half wave before at just 8 watts. It was uncomfortable. I think touching the end of this one would be just a little more uncomfortable

Hopefully it's burned itself to resonance, SWR should be lower now!
Great find Neal.
Got bit once, felt like a bite on the palm of my hand....bit sore and red mark later on....irritated all evening....few hours later there was a series of red dots/holes with blisters forming under them and it flipping killed! Kept me awake all night and looked a right mess the next morning. Took weeks to completely heal!!!
30 odd years later I still have the scars and marks on my palm!
Moral of the story.....don't let a CB mate key and read the SWR whilst you're adjusting the antenna.....he might find it funny to key-up whilst you're adjusting it!

How does this one work. When i took my end-fed down i pushed the coax/pl259 up into the pole that my hf multiband vertical is on pole is only 3m long. This coax is not connected to anything at all. The other day i had been using the vertical for some hours on ft-8/ft-4. I went out of the shack and no idea why but i pulled the coax out of the bottom of the pole. Couldn't believe it the pl259 was hot not burning hot but quite warm. ???????????????????????????

Just seen your post Alan. Have no idea Or maybe I have a slight idea.. There's some antennas you can mount on car windows aren't there, that don't have a physical connection between the feeder and actual radiating element that manage to couple through the glass. Maybe was working similar having the cable and very near to the antenna was doing the same thing?
Just came across another video whilst looking into ddrr antennas in relation to this NVIS thread. Posting here as related to my first posting above. An oldie so people here may of seen before, but new to me...
