managed to get contact with 2 division this afternoon, QSO with #339 in Kentucky, 27.380 LSB decent signals both ways, bit of confusion initially as another U.S. station was coming back to me at the same time with a similar call from the same state.

Could only hear distant 2 divisions just under my noise today sadly,Conditions here in the UK are far from perfect at the moment and I’m sure they will improve soon. Just the usual 116 Istanbul divisions at breakfast and the occasional 50 Russia.Fantastic QSO you had with New Zealand I have heard Australia recently but no reply to my CQ’s. Let’s see what this week brings and good luck with DX’ing on your side of the pond. Cheers Tom. 26 CT 4029

Seems 11m is trying this morning.Ā Little DX on 27.385LSBĀ Ā Jamaica (maan)Ā Ā I heard "Witch Doctor on the Humming bird island" a few times but wasn't able to make contact.Ā Roll the VFO up to triple 555USB and have Mexico all day long.Ā Decent Stations around Mexico City willing to chat.Ā Some of those "jungle" stations don't like Div2 .Ā I'm good.Ā Ā Just in Case conditions are in,Ā 27.395LSB is World Radio Club check-in.Ā I'm not in that club/group, but have a buddy that is, and is his turn to run the check-in. Never know when DX toss's a bone these last few days with very short DX windows just about anytime during the day.Ā Ā This check-in is Sunday 11/21/2021.Ā Ā Mostly all day.Ā Scott 2WR267 will be running it.Ā I will be running around the VFO if conditions are in.Ā between .555 and .395.Ā Good luck, crossing fingers, hail marry, kiss the ground, all that jazz. 73 2CT351 Jeremy (Big J)

Hi Savwafare10,To say the propagation and Skip conditions in the uk at the moment are poor would be an understatement.Spend a few hours this morning just flicking around the 11 meter bands and mostly heard just distance stations hardly getting over my background noise S1-S2.Then out of the blue at 1.20pm 315 Division Ukraine which saved a dull and grey morning in London and great signals both ways at 5/9.Listening now on the bands and all seems quiet just like this morning,I’ll try a net in the north of England later with maybe too much of an ask but he who dares..lol I’ll listen out for 2WR267 as were due some more Stateside propagation because looking at the log it’s been a week or so since the last. Have a great weekend. Tom 26 CT 4029

Out of the blue last night while I was going through the frequencies, I came across this station 31LR/MC21C, a LIMA RADIO Special Event Activation for Christmas there was very little activity elsewhere, and he was going through the contacts at a good rate of knots so much I Forgot to give him his signal report, when I spoke to him OOOPS!!!! , and he didn't notice either, LOL!!! I spoke to him using about 30watts and using my alternate call, it was around 10:15pm UK time (22:15 UTC) didn't want to annoy the neighbours decent signal reports both ways lots of QSB though, anyway about 20 mins later i popped back with my callsign this time I was at full power on the radio and gave him his signal report from earlier, he said his antenna was at 60 degrees so if we are looking at close stuff that's Central Europe I guess, anyway means he was catching me off the side of the beam, he said he was still getting a strong signal from me and actually I was getting a similar signal to earlier when the antenna was actually pointing towards the UK & Ireland. I'm guessing if he was actually pointing towards us it would have been 9+ both ways, as propagation was obviously better at that point than earlier if he was catching me well off the side of the beam, anyway with my mission complete. I gave my 73's wished him good luck and a good Christmas, wondering if any of you heard this station, worked him and possibly heard his side of the the conversation when I popped back in, It's a small world after all, and there are a lot of folks just listening, sometimes on one of the cheap Chinese SSB receivers, that's my report for the 3rd of December 2021, 73's & Christmas Greetings to all.

My thoughts go out to those in the USA that were badly affected by the horrendous weather conditions over there, my thoughts especially go out to #339 who was in Bowling Green. Kentucky an area that was badly hit by tornadoes, I spoke to #339 Steve a few weeks ago, I hope Steve and his family are safe and well Moderators if you need to move this to another forum please do so, although the post itself isn't about DX it concerns a contact which was so I wasn't sure where to put it. I will leave that up to the mods, also if you do move it may be worth removing last paragraph from post.

Decent to good conditions today in the states,Ā lost count after 40+ contacts between 27.375- 27.600 LSB and some USB. I gaveĀ a little challenge as I turned the power back from 100W to 30/35W peak, just to see.Ā Ā Something different I guess.Ā Silently proving nobody needs a Kw when some sort of conditions are in.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "What kind of radio and how many watts ya got?"Ā Ā Ā Ā Kenwood, 30watts,..."I'm running a XXXX and 500watts blah blah blah..."Ā Ā lolĀ Ā some of you know what I mean...Ā Ā getting dusk,Ā work week upon me tomorrow, 73 2CT351Ā Merry Christmas and Godspeed on a decent New Year....

11m and 10m opened up pretty strongly here yesterday evening just after sunset to the US, but I annoyingly got called in to work for a couple of hours just as I started hearing them and didn't get to work any that way.
Someone here please tell me you managed to catch it too and got to work a station or two...

Good opening on 11m to here just at the moment. Some south American countries coming through just above the noise, some Scandinavian stations are strong, listening to 20AT116 currently on 27.575.

Big signals coming through from the US right now on mid block. Hear them being worked by UK stations in the south along the M4 corridor from Swindon to London.

Talk about QRM,The amount of cross mode I heard this afternoon was unbelievable and mostly coming from 50 division,I was also told it could be heard on the UK FM too. Propagation was good today with the usual 50 division’s on am mid block and 116 division’s on FM.43 Division’s on 355-405 LSB then 2 division’s until 4-5pm.(No I don’t talk that much..lol) Tried out my new static mobile setup today for the first time as everything is installed nice and neat with no loose coax for kids to pull at.More then happy with the results as the first 2 QSO’s were CoCo Beach Florida on 27.185 am the good old boys trucking channel and then 347CI101,I checked that too it’s CuraƧao near Columbia,Now I won’t ever say no again to getting the morning paper and milk..lol Have a great weekend everyone.
