Same here with the T5 but I’m lucky they give me 30+.. Only managed an activation yesterday afternoon with 329 OZ 12 FD 011 in the Czech Republic and heard loads of 30-31 divisions on the highs 27.415-27.555 Mhz but strangely no response to any of my calls and they were piling up too.Very strange. After from that sod all..lol Cheers Tom. 26 CT 4029

Nothing much this way, few 'locals' with echo chambers and beep-boxes, (gets tiring to listen to!)
Only just fixed my rig, (intermittent faults are a PITA!!), so missed out on the summer skip this year but great fun nonetheless to SWL when I could. Finding myself gravitating towards other bands as things quieten down but will listen out for an October flurry and definitely tune in for a midwinter equinox lift.
Keep enjoying your radio, been great to hear about all of your 11m exploits.

Anyone had the radio on midmorning today or yesterday? At work today and was shopping that time yesterday, so I didn't. Just wondering if anything interesting came through at those times? The max usable frequency on the propquest charts were showing in the 11m band briefly both days, which is rare to see at the moment, so just wondering if it came to anything in reality.

Pulled a cheeky one and left early,Car now running on gas fumes..lol Hopefully later I’ll get some,Sod queuing for hours like the other muppets and then park it outside their house all week. Switched on an can you believe it T5 is alive as are a few channels on the highs band.Nice QSO with a 31 division in Lisbon and I’m giving him radio 5 and signal 9.I need to pull a fast one more often. If I can get fuel I’ll have a bloody good reason.🥺 Cheers Tom. 26 CT 4029

You're receiving better that I tonight Tom. I can hear a few odd ones coming through here and there, but not as many as you. In last 10 mins I have heard Russian on 26.665 USB (can't say if it's actually from Russia or just Russian, two people talking just in the language to each other), and another language I couldn't put a finger on exactly on 27.445 USB. Might be worth checking out..

Nothing from 8am this morning so switched off in disbelief. 3pm and I thought I’d better have a quick listen,God knows how much time I wasted but the 11m bands are buzzing. You know that humming and vibration propagation sound that only means one thing. So stuck with the Mids and half these languages I have no clue where they come from. First 18 division Athens and booming in 5 and 9. Next Mids LSB where I’ll stay as conditions seem spot on even though outside it feels like November. 2 division’s 334 Alabama and 925 South Carolina and talk about it was worth the wait.Sadly I wasn’t using the 500 watt like the 952 staton.Steve (115 net) spot on with your information as always.Cheers fella.. The prop quest MUFs were spot on yesterday. Signals from the same areas that you had Tom were landing on me.
A few others I heard on 12m, but didn't make it back to, were Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan. There really was true world wide prop on the top of the HF area. Fingers crossed today will be the same. Certainly if the prop charts show the same pattern then do listen out for not so common accents on the CB frequencies.
Just quick.. Tom, what's the 115 net? Sorry if it's been mentioned before and I've forgot. thx

Morning SangueG,To be honest I’ve never looked at the Prop quest MFU’s chart you mentioned,I will from now on though. Yesterday’s propagation was certainly an eye opener and just shows us what can happen and catch us all by surprise. Some of those languages I heard yesterday were from god knows where and that’s definitely the first time I’ve been able to have a three way conversation with stations in the states. You can beat there will be a lot more stations listening today and I nearly missed it as I had switched off and was planning on going out mid afternoon..🥺 I can’t wait until the Solar cycle 25 really stars to heat up. The 115 is a network chaired by Charlie Tango member StevieG 26 CT 3239 I think he may also use a Lima Radio on the net. It’s on everyday 27.115 LSB on the mids from about 7pm.Great group of lads and with a wealth of information and always willing to help.Numerous times I’ve been chatting to someone in London one minute then somewhere across Europe the next,That’s the good thing with a net being at a set time and frequency daily as it’s always visited and you never know where the next QSK or Breako Breako could be from. Have a great day everyone and let’s hope today is as good as yesterday was DX wise.I’ll be sitting at the window coffee in hand, radio hissing away and watching the runners pass outside. No chance of getting fuel today they closed our road for the Marathon…lol Cheers Tom. 26 CT 4029

Thanks Tom. I don't tend to pick up much net action from home, but I'll keep a note of that freq, mode and time to check out when conditions are favourable.
I'd forgotten it was the London marathon to be honest, I guess where you are you have no chance of forgetting. I like walking, and can walk forever, but running.. not my thing. Good luck to anyone taking part and raising money.
And good luck all with DX contacts later. The muf chart is heading in the right direction.

Hope some of you manage to get in on some of the US action.

There's nothing like listening to the good old yanks talking over each other on my old Stalker dx, super bowl was wide open for an hour . How I miss hearing them it's been a long time... working and hearing Europe isn't that fun anymore, to be honest, it's too easy no disrespect to anyone. I Can't wait to be working VK and ZL again on 11/10 roll-on solar...
