Hi everyone I had a CB radio in the 80s and 90s. Although have never used SSB in all that time. About November last year someone persuaded me to unbox and dust off my radio. Although I have have SSD I have never really even listen to it. I have flipped around and Not Found a lot of activity. Have watched several YouTube videos and forums so one out ready to go and hopefully make first Contact on SSB.
Was recommended this forum by several people so here I am lol.

Hi There, (sorry, no name given).
As Wayne has suggested it might be worth checking out the Nets & Skeds section of the forum but I know the South Coast SSB Net guys run round your neck of the woods. Check the following link for details :-
I believe the Alpha Mike DX club are also your way so there should be some activity on the air. Otherwise you can guarantee some exciting Sporadic E or 'skip' propagation come the summer months and that's when CB SSB really hots up.
Stick with it and your patience will certainly be rewarded.
All the best, Victor
