Evening Al,Just thinking that myself and now I know why it’s called a challenge as it gets harder and harder after every logged division. Between you and me m8,The keeping away from European stations plan as much as possible seems to be the way forward,It’s my Plan B when the going gets tough. Lol Have a great weekend everyone and Great DX Tom. 26CT4029

I had an hour or so up at the dx location, despite the snow and freezing temps.
Working conditions: Cobra 148 golf dx, 20w, Sirio 4000 static-mobile.
Got some catching up to do. Massive congrats to, Tom, Al and Chris. Great work chaps.

So little daylight time available to me to operate at the moment and 10m has been pulling me more than 11m this weekend with the big contest on, but excuses aside lol I need to pull my finger out if there's any chance on catching Tom, Al and Chris.
Well done John for braving the cold, looking out the window I see there's been a light covering of snow here in the Cotswolds last night, will have to brave a half hour shortly to take the dog out. Very well done as well on 18SR/EV075/SI. I listened for about half hour but just couldn't understand the full callsign, I only made out the 18 at the beginning and the SI at the end. Your ears are better than mine.

Cheers, Neal. I must confess it took me a few attempts to get the full call-sign of the 18 div station. Lol. I was hoping to get 9 div in the log, but it was too chaotic.
Just noticed I have posted my scores in the wrong section too. Lol.

Same for me, Al. I intended going up on the tops this weekend, but ended up working yesterday. The roads are well iffy with snow and black ice, so thought better of it.
Hopefully I will get up next weekend, if I don't have to work.
Congrats to Tom, he is going to take some catching.
Good luck everyone.

I need to get back on it too, Al. I was going to have a couple of hours on the tops, but it was freezing. Hopefully the weather will warm up a bit.
Good dx, everyone.

Put my rig back in the car today so hopefully I'll get some scores on the doors and not finish last Although I've a feeling there are some sneaky players holding out lol Thought the end was the 1st of march so happy to see I have more time
This year I really need to pull my finger out and sort out a homebase.

Well done Al for even just hearing those. I tuned to the T5 yesterday and the Russian national anthem was playing, tuned away a bit and strong Polish station was coming through so though that would be a nice easy one to get to add me 1pt.. I called once then someone started mass whistling on the frequency. Some of you are doing really well to work through all the nonsense on the band to get the points you have done!
I worked 1AT000 activation for World Radio Day yesterday, only one for me on 11m and no points for it.

Yeah Russian matey 450 has been doing that non stop for the last 3 days. This morning he changed tactics to constantly swearing (Oh Well) and he’s a ham operator too,Which should get his ear twisted for his conduct. Free for all sadly on 11m

Well done with organising and running the 11m challenge Al and a very well done to all involved with your impressive contacts.
I'm sure everyone competing has found it exciting and for those of us just reading equally so with the potential a much loved band can reward us with.
