Just worked Florida USA on 10m SSB

yes it was fantastic yesterday, 555, midbands to, and uk40, the contacts were fast and its the best its been for a long time, and its a little on now but there is bad weather coming so more contacts.

The Superbowl is very loud here atm , 27.025 am

Whereabouts are you? I am only getting feint signals from Italy.

Shepton Mallet , Somerset . Just been listening to a French station work about ten stateside on the bounce on 10m ssb , only just heard one of them LOL

there has been 3 days of great contacts, on the 555 uk40 and SSB AM FM on mid bands , its good to get lots on and its like it was like years ago less the bad swearing music, and a few contests but the magnums 257 and the magnum 257hp were working well, just so great to be here at the right time we had thunder so unplugged just to be safe, it was hard to get two but i did there ,
un replaceable now, got one back in a good deal, and a very good one on the bay, had to put a big bid on it, but got it now were the price but i had decided i was going to get it.

Good to hear the band has picked up Stephen , currently on middle putting up a double bazooka for 11m but not got enough coax .... I've been off the air at home for over a year ... bloody neighbours kept complaining but I left the pole up. Still had complaints " your wiping my TV out " etc .. funny that I don't have a antenna up or any coax from the house . That shut them up !

to true i had my antenna up and one end of the cox in my hand, that making my tv going bad showed her the coax end to go into the house, so its not you ,but i said it could be the plastic bag on your tv antenna, can you take it down, no i need good friends and son to put up my antenna, never heard a thing after,

Iraqi on 10m SSB creates a mad pile up , he goes QRT and India takes over the frequency and creates another LOL  plenty UK stations worked them, but both were only 41 to me so just had a listen. Good conditions on TEN this afternoon.

I can hear the Superbowl at times and the 4U1UN beacon (NewYork) is easily readable on 28.200 on last three rotations , so it might open to the West in abit ( or not lol )

10m open to USA atm , West Virgina and Maryland being heard ( not worked atm )

So Burkina Faso on 10m SSB , hes right in my noise but I can just hear him in and out , crazy pile up. He starts going by the numbers and starts with Zero,s to low for me to call and I think he only takes two and moves on . No fours which pushes things along and by now hes S3 , once he gets to the nines hes now S7  and I still haven't TX'd yet waiting my turn when up pops a MW0 calling all the time ( I don't think he was the only one ) despite being told by the DX he was working nines , still the MW0 carried on calling till the DX had had enough and went QRT or QSY'd to another band . S7 on my meter and never got the chance to call FFS .

For the first time in the E season the band opened up to North America late last night with some big signals and free of Euro interference for me , typically for my luck it was to late to be be shouting in the mic , stations from Maine down to Florida were S6>8 on the multi hop E skip with some Canadians thrown into the mix to .

I'm a great fan of Prof.Feynman and to quote him - Illusion of knowledge is more dangerous than ignorance. Its Okay to say " I don't know " and admit that you don't know it . However, its shamful to pretend that you know everything.

well this does not get allot of use so now no shout box

Every time I check out the 'Chatbox' it seems that it's been used to obtain a call sign, (wrong place ), and maybe people think it's manned 24/7?!? Can't remember the last time I saw someone logged onto it though.

we yesterday had a nasty storm rain and wind the thunder and lightening, every thing un pluget i had the thunder and lightening app, and was watching it move up the country, we had a lightening strike next to the house did not expect that it the weekend hope every ones antenna is safe be safe out there, scared the shit out of me.
