Hi Guys I want to put a decent rig into my van, i was gonna use a CRT 6900 but I have limited space, what is there that is good but smaller?

Hello Drjerkll,I have a 6900 in the car and they are a bit on the big side.Good radio for the money but if space is limited what about its bigger brother the 9900,Far Superior radio to the 6900 and my 9900 is way smaller in comparison and puts out 70-80 watt PEP radio power on SSB. Not sure of the other radio’s available on the market today so can’t really comment. Good luck Tom. 26CT4029

I bought the 9900 for it's size mobile and more power it's a cracking rig but more menu based than the 6900 . And more expensive. If you get one, or the Anytone 6666. Be aware that it gets very hot on full power in FM/AM during long or regular transmit.
So for instance, if only two of us are chatting, I'll turn the power to the lowest possible where I'm still heard whilst occasionally checking the heatsink.
