Hello all , My name is Martin I'm located in North Buckinghamshire. If you took Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton I'm somewhere in this triangulation. I got into CB in the early 90's on the biscuit tin bedroom set up , my home based set up just grew and grew. When I moved out of home I went mobile, I used Dunstable downs mostly on my own as "CB was nerdy" as my DX location. I'm a truck driver and have always been connected with communication of some description, recently I tried the "midland CB app" (as I heard all the kids were using this) yeah it's not my cuppa tea. I'm currently setting up a homebase after I discovered my old 5/8 packed away in my mum's loft, no CB radio and accessories which is odd , however it's given me a WANT to do it again after alot of research I've purchased a superstar 6900 and would seem I need a CB handle ( a CT Call sign) if you would be so kind. Kind regards Martin 73's

Hi Martin,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
For me to be able to allocate you a call sign I will need some basic information including a specific QTH as per the forum requirements. Details at the following link :-
Once that's done I'll get you issued on my next round of call sign allocations.

Hello Martin,
You're quite right and it does appear that this call sign has been issued twice, I've since found the duplicate allocation here :-
Fortunately this is an extremely rare occurrence and I have personally trawled back through the call signs issued previously and after making sure that there were no further errors. I can only think that the call sign database lists weren't updated after your allocation and fully accept responsibility for any errors seeing as I allocated you before the duplicate was issued by our other call sign admin Gary.
I can only profusely apologise for such an oversight and do my very best to rectify this for you. The other recipient appears to have not logged back onto the forum after gaining their call sign (not an unusual occurrence) so the only way I can think of moving forward with this is to allocate you a new call sign.
Again, my apologies but I will do my very best to sort this for you. Let me know if this is an acceptable solution and I will get it rectified.
