Hi All,
I've primarily used my 9900 for 11m/freeband comms, however I'm now venturing into 10 and 12 metres, and I feel there's lots of contacts to be made with my M7 licence. My radio was programmed by Knights, and I'm wondering if I need to do anything with the transmit bandwidth before I start calling CQ on these bands, as I do want to give them a tickle?

I would just give it a try you never know. Not sure on the settings of that radio never used the one i had too fiddly and small buttons for me so it went replaced it with a Yaesu 450d.

Depending on the version of the 9900 you may not be able to reduce SSB power to legal limits without opening it up, my version 4 reduces AM and FM, but not SSB.
