Hello everyone! My name is Tam, just dipping my toes back in after 40+ years. I live in Clydebank, passed my foundation a few months ago and looking to get going on different bands, it will be slowly mind you. Can I request a callsign please?
Thanks

Hello Tam,
Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
Congratulations on your Foundation, there's a lot of fun to be had with those extra frequencies under your belt but CB remains in the heart for a lot of us.
I am delighted to allocate you 108-CT-370 may you have good luck with it.
All the best, Victor

Thank you Victor!
TBH the ham thing was more of a refresher and to get the old grey matter going again, I am more into the CB stuff...I think! I was on the old AM and gave up when 27/81 came in. Now CB has more channels and sidebands available, I quite fancy going down that route. I just have to work out which rig to go for and do I want it expanded to cover 10m/12m or do I go for a amateur set and expand to cb? Decisions to be made eh? I can see plentyof questions ahead for the forum.

You're more than welcome Tam.
I think half of the fun that can be had with the radio interest is the indecision. So many choices that we end up like the proverbial kid in a sweet shop!
There's plenty of folk more than happy to help out or chip in on the forum so feel free to fire away.
I wish you all the best with your reinvigorated radio interests.
