Thank you Charlie Tango and CB radio....

It has been a while since i have posted anything here (a couple today) due to a intestinal operation that went worse than expected and when i finally do feel better i get Covid for the second time but far far worse than the first time that was in December 2020.
iI am off work (my own business) and have been sleeping 12 hour nights even though i am sleeping another 3 hours of the day and feel like crap...worse than crap,terrible with no energy and no signs of it getting better (my 4 th day after testing positive and tbh i felt bad a lot of last week while working from home but brushed it off.....I am a man nothing is getting me down lol.


Ok enough of the sympathetic nonsense as it's not all about me me me.....

It is about Charlie Tango being there for over 10 years and radio being there for over 40 years (I was a young teenager protestor marching against the 27/81 legalisation of FM CB radio)........,but i kinda like FM now lol....


So thank you radio first and foremost for the people i have spoken to and met over the years (including luscious lips eyeballing me and more after a few chats on the ole 14 good buddy).

And thank you to the good ship Charlie Tango and all who sail in her.....the admin,moderators,staff etc and those who use her be it often or like me less so.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bless you Sam mate, you have my deepest sympathies as well as my wishes for your return to good health.

I'm in a similar boat health wise myself but always thankful for the awesome distraction the radio interest gives me as well as grateful to the fantastic people involved with such a preoccupation.

I echo your sentiments exactly with a huge thank you not only to your good self, but also to everyone here at Charlie Tango for their involvement, banter, radio stories and also overwhelming generosity often shown to others.

CT would be nothing if it wasn't for all of you wonderful people coming together with a common interest.

May your antennas stay up, your radio stays working, propagation sits in your favour and far flung people are made welcome as if personally sat in your company.

Not got the best health at this station nothing they can do for me really but the station commander Linda is getting her new hip next week on my birthday what a fantastic present to get her out of the pain she is in.
